بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
সূরাঃ Al-Masad | আল-মাসাদ | المسد

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
2
تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ (١)
• May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
-Sahih International
• May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.
A curse upon Abu Lahab (Prophet ﷺ’s uncle) for his opposition to Islam.

مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ (٢)
• His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
-Sahih International
• His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.
His wealth and status will not save him on the Day of Judgment.

4
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ (٣)
• He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame.
-Sahih International
• He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame.
He will enter a blazing fire (Hell).
-Sahih International
5
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ (٤)
• And his wife [as well] – the carrier of firewood.
-Sahih International
• And his wife [as well] – the carrier of firewood.
His wife, who helped him in hostility, will also be punished.
